The Rochester Contemporary Dance Collective collaborates with dance artists throughout the Western New York Region to strengthen the dance community through performances, advocacy, and Dance Dialogues, a non-directive feedback process that invites choreographers to present, discuss and receive comments about their work.   RCDC’s E-news gives monthly dance news about regional performances, classes, workshops and dance related events.  

The Contemporary Dance Collective (RCDC) was founded in 2004 by Christine Fendley (Park Avenue Dance Company), Richard Haisma (Geomantics Dance-Theater), Liz Hallmark (Hallmark Danceworks), Heather Roffe (Futurepointe Dance Company) Anne Harris Wilcox (Present Tense Dance Company) and Colleen Hendrick (Bush Mango Drum and Dance). The current Board of Directors is Anne Harris Wilcox, Missy Pfohl Smith (BIODANCE), Christine Fendley, James Hansen (independent choreographer) and Laurie MacFarlane (independent choreographer).   We encourage other performing artists to join us in this endeavor.
